Find the things that start with the same sound that starts "Itchy Itches". (igloo, iron, stove, airplane, island, ice.)

Make a list of random words, some of which begin with the letter "I". Read them slowly and clearly to your child. When your child hears Miss I's sound, they should get the "Itchy Itches"!

Miss I's itches may be the result of a bug bite! Have your child create an "Incredible Insect" using paper, fabric, clay, pipecleaners, etc. Discuss the meaning of the word "Incredible" with them, and why insects might bite or sting.
